I think "Trail Mix" is a much more attractive name "Gorp". Gorp is a term that has been used since the early 20th century and refers to granola, oats, raisins and peanuts. Regardless of the name used, is a delicious blend of nutritious nuts, nuts, seeds, fruits and sweets. This bite goes back to ancient times, when nomads would eat a mix that includes dried meats, too. Easy to store and transport, this blend is ideal for people they want something to nibble on while enjoying the outdoors or for anyone looking for a quick, healthy snack. This mixture is called "Scroggin 'in New Zealand and Australia, which makes the term "Trail Mix" even more appealing.

When I hear the term "Trail Mix", I think of pioneers, opening a way with horses and carts, snack nuts and seeds on the road. According to the Patent and Trademark Office U.S. Office, California Food Company Harmony was the first to coin the term in 1968, when he presented his "Original Trail Mix".

However, it received its name from "trail mix" is a popular snack, more recently, is available in vending machines machines for those who need a quick-me-up. For people like hikers, bicyclists, and hunters who enjoy outdoor activities, trail mix has always been a source of energy. There are a variety of trail mix recipes. Mani, raisins and chocolate chips are among the most used and cheapest ingredients.

I like to invent my own mix recipes road. Pistachios are a favorite of mine and I found a great company that makes the trail mix with a combination of pistachios, dried cranberries, chocolate chips Netherlands and white chocolate chunks. Some people believe that pistachios not be included in the mix of trail because they are so costly. I beg to differ. Always buy in quantity and this translates into lower cost per pound. In addition, the fruit mixture Dry can take the place of food if you are on the go or do not have enough time to have a nice lunch. There is simply no comparison between the trail mix and normal fast food that provides a minimal nutritional value, but a lot of fat.
