Vitamin K is often referred to as the 'blood clotting' vitamin because that is the task most normally associated with it.

I take whole food vitamins, i eat pretty healthy, and i think I'm pretty healthy. I like neverrr get sick. But could something be missing or is there something i could do to get rid being sick?
To answer your question yes it is possible to get over some infections an illnesses without seeing a doctor, it's just letting your own immune system fight off infection. Usually for most common colds and flu's they are caused by a virus and since there is no cure for a virus the only thing one can do is let a virus run it's course. You can take OTC meds, vitamins, supplements ect.. but all these do is help with symptoms like sore throat, coughing ect.. but all viruses have to run there course in your body and then they go away. Now for infections like MRSA and VRE your body can't always fight these off on their own so antibiotics are needed. No amount of vitamins or OTC supplements is gonna kill these bugs. Only hard core antibiotics have the best chance of getting rid of these bigger badder infections.
