Trail mix and nut binges?

So with all of the cookies, pizzas, cakes, fast foods that are tempting to other people for me as werid as it may sound the only food that is real tempting to me is trail mix. Its not even the unhealthy chocolate filled trail mixes (although sometimes it is though) its usually just raw nuts and dried fruits. This really would be a positive thing but I go WAY overboard and can pretty much kill off a pound of trail mix from those bulk bins at the health food store. The rest of my diet is pretty healthy (whole grains, fruits, veggies, fruits,low far dairy nuts etc) and I run and workout everyday. But what could I be missing in my diet that could cause these cravings. I am a vegetarian but its not protein because I get about 50-60 grams a day through high protein grains. eggs, greek yogurt and a plant based protein powder. Than

You are exercising a lot. That is why you are craving the food. Your body starts craving the calories that it has burnt off. At first it kills appetite when you exercise, but usually a little while later, you will start getting hungry. As long as you aren't gaining massive amounts of weight, I wouldn't worry. I actually am like you, I don't crave the stuff that most people do. I usually go for cereal, or a peanut butter and jelly. And weirdly enough, I barely exercise, and I am still underweight, despite my calorie intake. Just make sure you are getting enough calories in order for your body to burn that many, because running and working out require more calories. In fact, they burn quite a bit. You may want to get slightly more protein than that (but not too much) It all depends on your body and size. But in reality, those are not really bad things to binge on compared to the foods that the average american binges on.
