2. Fresh fruits: In nature, African Greys eat fruit freely. The trick is to keep your parrot to fill with your favorite meal and set aside pellets and vegetables. As with vegetables, choose the colors bright, rich fruit for most nutrition. Furthermore, buying organic if possible.
3. Complementary food: African Grey Parrots enjoy cooked eggs and small amounts of yogurt from time to time. African Greys are more likely than some parrots of calcium deficiency, so they can go of the eggshell in the egg, if desired. There is no need to give your parrot a calcium supplement if you are using a good organic food pellet. You can give a handful of seeds as a gift, but go easy on them.

Remember, when you think about the dietary needs of their African Grey should have clean fresh water in his cage at all times.
Helpful Hint
For healthy African Grey, be sure to clean the dishes of food and water every day. If your parrot decides a makeshift bathroom, wait for it to do, wash the water dish, and provide a new water supply.
