...You will not be disappointed.It has a great creamy texture and the spiciness lifted my mood! The coconut lends to a toasty finish and is very mild. I really enjoyed this and had trouble sharing...Beware if you are ultra sensitive to spice you may not like it. I like chilies in my cocoa :>

Spicy and sweet!

Theo's milk chocolate coconut curry bar is not for everyone -- it is very spicy and the sting of curry powder is the highest note in the taste, at least initially. But this is my favorite of Theo bars, not just for the spiciness, but also because the spice quickly dissipates as the chocolate melts on the tongue, and the sting is soothed by one of the best milk chocolates I've ever tasted -- silky as it dissolves. The coconut adds a bit of crunch to the texture. This is a highly unique bar, and very rewarding if you like sophisticated taste combinations.

SPICY not creamy

I expected the curry flavor to be a sweet and creamy curry taste, maybe like korma sauce...or like Thai coconut soup...NOPE, it's just got curry powder in it. Spicy and really not that great. I have no idea where the coconut flavor was in this bar. I love Indian food, and I love chocolate, but there have got to be better ways to combine the two.

I had this in the factory in Seattle. It was excellent. I agree with the other review that it can get expensive, but there's nothing else like this so you might want to try it out.

YUM! but not craveable

These were tasty...you don't get a BREAD taste per se...it seems more as if there are bits of salt in the chocolate. Which was good. But not cravable enough to order again and pay the high price plus ridiculous shipping cost. If they showed up at a local store I might buy a couple, but I would not seek them out. Would rather have homemade bread with Nutella on top.

Good for you and the planet, maybe, but tastewise, not so much

If you like your chocolate dark, rich, melt-in-your-mouth and creamy, this is not your bar. The texture was too solid, not at all melty, zero creaminess, and the chocolate itself had an odd off flavor that took me a while to figure out - it was acidic, very much so. This is chocolate in its most natural, healthy, and sadly, least tasty form. If you are eating this for health purposes, it's the right one, but there are a thousand better tasting chocolates out there. It's a shame since I really wanted to like this, but those European confectioners that have been tweaking chocolate for the last couple of hundred years, they knew what they were doing.

Best Organic Dark Chocolate!

Theo's Classic Organic Dark Chocolate (70% Cacao) is absolutely amazing! I you can find it in your budget to purchase this bar, please do so.A friend purchased a dark chocolate bar from Lindt (90% Cocao), and you can't in any way compare them. My friend's gesture was nice, however I wouldn't pay .10 for their bar after experiencing the tasteful delight of Theo's chocolate bar.Also of note, I couldn't find anything stating Lindt to be Organic. Theo is organic.Worth the price, yum!!

Allergy Information

Upon receiving a package of 12 bars, I noticed on the back of the one of the individual wrappers "Allergy Information: Manufactured on shared equipment with products containing milk, eggs, wheat, peanuts, and other nuts." Nowhere on Amazon nor Theo's website is this found (at least in the 15-20 minutes I spent looking).I have not tried the chocolate because I have Celiac disease so I cannot comment on the quality of the product. I just wanted to save people some time.

I like this sugar free chocolate. It has 70% cocoa which is good for you and 70 calories per 2 squares it does have malitol so do not eat to much your you might not like the results! Nice taste and treat.

Totally Chocolate!

Not for the timid!This super dark chocolate at 65% cacao is all about chocolate. If you want even more cacao try Theo Venezuelan at 91% or the Ivory Coast at 75%! No sugar taste pure dark chocolate at its finest.I received this chocolate as a hostess gift from some people in Seattle (home of Theo) and loved it.It is really terrific with a great cup of coffee. And even one bar of this chocolate can last awhile because it is so rich you just don't need to eat the whole thing in on sitting.
