PITTAÂ TEA

~ ~ In a medium saucepan boil 4 cups water.

~ ~ Add the following spices:

1 teaspoon fennel seeds

1 teaspoon coriander seeds

1 / 2 cumin seeds

10 leaves fresh mint

~ ~ Bring water to boil for 5 minutes and steep for 3-5 minutes.

~ ~ Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, while soaking.

~ ~ Strain the tea and pour into a pot or thermos.

~ ~ Sweetened with agave sweetener comes as Sucanat, raw organic sugar.

I have a recipe for oatmeal cookie with raisins that calls for 1 cup granulated sugar and 1 cup of brown sugar. I only have granulated Sucanat and so I Sucanat replacement for coffee? The taste is different?
