Everybody likes a snack. And not just that you're hungry between meals and you need something to eat, but also because snacks can be a gift to yourself. Traffic help you feel better and raise your spirit. So here is a list of snacks that you can get your heart pumping, both literally and figuratively. They are delicious alternatives to traditional bag of chips or chocolate bar that is not part of a healthy diet. So instead of dropping by the drive-through or go directly to the candy aisle, and you can load up the hearts of some healthy snacks.

1. Dipped in Hummus vegetables - Fresh vegetables are low in calories and have many antioxidants. Many of them do not have any fat, and instead of giving lots of fiber to make your stomach feel full. Hummus, made from chickpeas, is a great alternative protein without saturated fat.

2. Skewer fruit on a stick with a bit of dark chocolate for dipping - The fruit has a variety of antioxidants to fight cancer and heart disease. The black chocolate has a high concentration of flavinols, which is a type of antioxidant that helps fight heart disease, and in fact is recommended by physicians for this same purpose.

3. Half a melon filled with Fat Free Cottage Cheese, a pinch of cinnamon and some berries - the melon and berries are rich in antioxidants, and fat cottage cheese counts as one serving of dairy, avoiding saturated fat.

4. Fat-free yogurt with fruit and a hint of nuts - Here's an opportunity to get another serving of dairy products that contain saturated fat, but many of antioxidants from fruit and above that, a bit of healthy, unsaturated fats from nuts.

5. Smoothies with Silken Tofu and berries, plus a dash of grape juice or pomegranate juice As most dieters know, tofu is an excellent alternative source of protein without saturated fat. Berry, grape juice and pomegranate juice have a high concentration of antioxidants and are good for you.

6. Homemade soup - Start with a vegetable base in order to load up on antioxidants and fiber. Make sure not to buy something that is rich in sodium, because that is something we definitely do not want for your heart. Add a bag of frozen vegetables and mix in a two cups of beans. Canned beans are high in sodium, so be sure to rinse thoroughly before using. Season with fresh herbs.

7. Pureed prunes raisins - introducing them into his Brownies - fruit puree is an excellent addition to chocolate brownies, as it helps strengthen the flavor of chocolate. 10. Nuts and small pieces of fruit - sprinkle on muffins - If you substitute applesauce for oil, he takes a low-fat muffin, healthy protein packed with antioxidants from the fruit, nuts, fiber, and the heart of nuts.

11. Cake meat - Use tofu and minced chicken white meat instead of red meat - This combination is quite large. The result is a taste experience like meatloaf, but without the disadvantage of eating red meat.
