Quick Dinner Recipes

Quick Dinner Recipes

Does anyone have recipes for fast food?

I'm going to college and live in an apartment. I received some recipes online, but I was wondering if anyone had some of their own, they would like share. I know the basics of cooking, but not much else.

This was easy and I did tonight. It is also good for the budget of the university. Tuna Empanadas 2 6 oz cans tuna packed in water 4 slices of bread lightly toasted and chopped very, very small 2 tablespoons melted 1 or 2 dashes of butter ... seasoning each bird, granulated onion, garlic powder, pepper, celery salt. 1 tablespoon dried chives two dashes hot sauce 3/4-1 cup mayonnaise 1 cup grated cheese 1 / 2 cup shredded carrot Refridgerate least 10 min. Then how about 8 patties and fry until browned on both sides. I had mine with noodles melted butter. Or you can go through the bucket fulls onto hot griddle. Serve boiled, drained inside giant shells. Spoon a little pasta sauce on top and sprinkle with a little cheese. --------------------------------------- ----------- ------------------------------- 6 pork chops (about 5 oz each) 3 Potatoes 3 Carrots 1 onion 2 cans cream soup mushrrom 1 1 / 2 tablespoons milk cans flour salt and pepper 3 Brown chops in a skillet that has been lightly oiled. As the cutlets are sliced brown potatoes carrots, onions and carrots. Place browned chops in a 9x13 baking dish. Layer vegetables. In a separate bowl mix broth and flour until smooth, then add milk. Pour over chops and vegetables and then cover and bake for 1 hour at 350. Then remove the cover and continue Bake for 15 minutes. --------------------------------------- ----------- Hot ----------------------------------- Orzo Pasta Salad: Boil some orzo pending cut some zucchini and yellow squash crooked neck a little small. Add the vegetables in the last 3-4 minutes of boiling. Drain and transfer to a serving dish so. Add a little butter, seasoned salt and parm cheese. Mix and enjoy. ---- ---------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------- Cold Orzo Salad: Boil some orzo pasta, drain and cool. Add some chopped red onion, roma tomatoes, corn, feta cheese and Italian dressing. -------------------------------- ------------------ -------------------------------- --- Green hot potato salad, a pound small white or yellow new potatoes, red 12 oz fresh green beans and cut into 1 inch pieces (about 2 cups) 1 / 4 cup dried tomatoes in olive oil, drained and chopped 1 / 3 cup Parmesan cheese or bottled Italian dressing 4 cups pre-washed Italian salad greens 4 slices bacon cooked crisp and crumbled (optional) 1 / 2 or 1 / 4 of the potatoes, boil the beans in lightly salted water until tender. Drainage. Return to pan and add ---------------------------------------- ------- remaining ingredients ------------------------------------ Crock Chicken Salsa Curry 10 chicken thighs meat in a jar your fav salsa 1 / 2 chopped onion 1 tablespoon curry (or about 1 / 2 if you like a strong curry taste) 1 / 2 cup sour cream Place chicken in crock pot. Mix the onion, curry and salsa. Pour over chicken and simmer for about 6-8 hours. When the chicken is cooked out of the crock pot and put in a serving dish. Add sour cream and mix well. Pour sauce over chicken. This goes well with rice or cous cous. If you do not have pot pot I would think that you can do this in you oven in a well wrapped pan on low (about 200) prove that although it may cook faster. I have not done in the oven, but as I said I think it should work. I did it in the crock pot and it was awesome. This recipe is easy to make smaller portions too. -------------------------------------- ------------ ---------------------------------- creamy chicken enchiladas: pound boneless chicken cut into cubes 1 breasts a 8 oz package cream cheese cut into cubes Flour or corn tortillas 1 can chopped green chile peppers ground cumin 1 or 2 can of green enchilada sauce, shredded cheese Cook chicken in skillet and when the chicken is cooked add the cream cheese, melt. As the cream cheese melts add green chilies, and a couple of good dashes of cumin. Continue to heat on low heat until cream cheese melts. Fill a tortilla with chicken mixture, roll and place in a baking dish and continue until the chicken mixture is gone. Cover with enchilada sauce and sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes or until sauce is nice and warm and the cheese is golden and bubbly. ------------------------- ------------------------- ---------- ------------------------- Cook 2 pork chops with the following: 1 pepper Red cut into 1-inch, 1 / 2 medium chopped onion in small pieces, and sliced 1 apple. Cook the chops in a little oil, brown on one side and turn add the onion, pepper, and apples. Cook until chops are done and the other ingredients are crisp tender. Serve with rice. The recipe of the day, for many chops and want to do. Salt and pepper on both sides of the chops, place in a baking dish. Top each chop with the following: 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 tablespoon tomato sauce 1 slice onion 1 slice lemon Bake at 350 for about 30-45 minutes depending on how many chops, and how thick they are. This dish creates a good bit of sweet chili sauce. You can simmer an extra serving or two of the topping ingredients on the stove top with a little water if desired. I serve this dish with rice too. Different but very good sound!

Starting in January and ending in December, the recipes follow the seasons, with comforting cold-weather dishes in winter and summer plates that make the most of seasonal produce. With Robin Rescues Dinner, weeknight dinners have never been easier—or more delicious! From Robin Rescues Dinner: Grilled Flank Steak with Blue Cheese Crumb Topping This is a simple way to take an everyday steak over the top. Since it takes just a few minutes (and practically zero effort) to make the creamy-crunchy topping, think of this for your next dinner party. Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 10 minutes Ingredients Cooking spray 1 flank steak (2 to 2 1/2 pounds), or 2 flank steaks (1 to 1 1/4 pounds each) Salt and freshly ground black pepper 2 teaspoons olive oil 2 garlic cloves, minced 1/2 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (Serves 4 (with leftovers for quesadillas)) Directions 1. Coat a stovetop grill pan or griddle with cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat. Season both sides of the steak with salt and pepper and add to the hot pan. Cook for 5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove the steak from the pan and let stand for 5 minutes. 2. Meanwhile, to make the crumb topping, heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, until soft. Add the bread crumbs and cook for 2 minutes, or until golden brown. Add the blue cheese and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, until the cheese starts to melt and the mixture is crumbly. 3. Cut the steak crosswise, against the grain, into thin strips. Serve half of the steak with all of the blue cheese mixture sprinkled over the top. (Reserve the remaining steak for quesadillas.) Quick Side Dish: Maple-Glazed Sweet Potatoes Peel and cube 2 pounds sweet potatoes (2 to 3 medium) and toss with 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper. Transfer the potatoes to a large, rimmed baking sheet, in a single layer, and roast at 400 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes, until tender. While still hot, toss the sweet potatoes with a mixture of 1/4 cup 100% pure maple syrup and 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard. From Robin Rescues Dinner: Steak Quesadillas with Spinach and Caramelized Onions and Chunky Ranch Guacamole We love quesadillas in our house, so I’m always creating a new version. This simple combination contains tortillas stuffed with steak, cheese, spinach, and caramelized onions. What takes them over the top is the guacamole on the side—an awesome (and ridiculously simple) blend of avocados, ranch dressing, lime juice, tomato, and cilantro. Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutes Ingredients 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 cup sliced yellow or red onion 1 tablespoon sugar 2 ripe avocados, pitted, peeled, and coarsely chopped 1/4 cup prepared ranch dressing 2 teaspoons fresh lime juice 1/2 cup diced ripe beefsteak or plum tomato 1 to 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro, to taste Salt and freshly ground black pepper Cooking spray 4 8- to 10-inch flour tortillas 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese 2 cups baby spinach leaves Reserved cooked steak slices (or 3 to 4 cups sliced cooked steak or chicken) (Serves 4) Directions 1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and sugar and cook for 7 to 8 minutes, until soft and golden brown. 2. Meanwhile, to make the guacamole, in a medium bowl, combine the avocado, ranch dressing, and lime juice. Mash with a fork until blended. Stir in the tomato and cilantro. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Set aside. 3. Coat a stovetop griddle or large skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat. 4. Arrange the tortillas on a flat surface. Top half of each tortilla with shredded cheese, spinach, reserved steak, and caramelized onions. Fold over the un-topped side, making a half moon. Place the quesadillas on the hot pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese melts. 5. Serve the quesadillas with the guacamole on the side.
