What I can obtain information on Tropical Fruits for Children

We have been living in Kuala Lumpur, about a year and a half and I was afraid to feed my baby-girl any tropical fruit. I did not know, should I or should not I? Well, I discovered that most of them are completely safe and nutritious and not invite any reaction with the majority of babies (see their little one, but with a specialist, such as kiwi has some allergic reactions some children). My daughter loves all tropical fruits, especially papaya. Usually, he likes you just cut into pieces. I was surprised that they started to hit the papaya bananas as the fruit ones!

Mango: If your baby is less than 8 months, you may want to steam gently. Otherwise, this fruit is large, directly or blended with other fruit purees and smoothies. Mango is a great source of vitamins C and A.

star fruit: This fruit is a great source of potassium, vitamins C and A. 'S also a good source of fiber and calcium. Can be used in smoothies, or simply cut into pieces in salad fruit. Supply of this fruit at 8 months or so.

Durian: Here in Asia is a most beloved fruit, which they called "the king fruit. "Despite having a strong and peculiar odor, some people and most Asians love so much. Khaki: My favorite of all time. : O) I grow in my country too. Make sure it is ripe, otherwise they are not tasty and very spicy. There are two types: one is soft when ripe, it's not like an apple, firm at maturity. Khaki is packed with vitamin C and contain potassium, iron and calcium. The good age for the introduction is 10 months.

dragon fruit: Known as the dragon fruit, this fruit is rich in antioxidants. Good source of calcium, phosphorus and vitamin C. Also are rich in fiber. Some moms here, begin to give this fruit from 6 months. I suppose that is for sure: o) You can give your baby as it is. Just cut in half and remove the meat. These two types, red meat is most delicious.
