natures path

which of the wiccan path tree would be good for me?

You see I'm Irish, sotish, English and Indian alqonquin, I'm in nature and animals and help people. and I do not want Celtic Wiccan path suites, Pictish Wicca, or traditionalist Britsh.

This is something that can only be determined. I suggest the three in-depth study and see what suits you best.

Studying Nature in Mexico is an unforgettable adventure

Having spent many vacations in Cancun, Mexico, I decided to take the plunge and move to explore the beautiful nature he had admired in my previous trips. Having lived many years in the comfort and safety of American suburbia, was time for some adventure. After learning Spanish, I went to the Yucatan and rented a house on the outskirts of Playa del Carmen and I hired a maid. Then with the help of hired guides and friends, I visited a variety of remote locations from the jungles of Mexico. It was an unforgettable experience of seeing a variety of animals in their natural habitats.

The ever-growing city of Playa del Carmen is one hour south of Cancun, and easy access to public buses. Both cities are in the Caribbean, where coral reefs abound along the coast. The beauty of pure white sand, limestone, and colorful turquoise water sea I took there. Being an artist of nature, I was fascinated by plants and animals of the region. Armed with cameras, drawing paper and pencils, I went to work drawing and photography of insects, birds, plants and anything more exotic. Soon, my art led me to work as an illustrator for a major natural park called Xcaret.

Every time I had a lot to give to my employer, I board the employee bus to Xcaret, and then walk down a long road to new forest park near the office. These trips fascinated me, because the path was directly next to her zoo enclosure and aviary. Flamingos, spider monkeys and the harpy eagle were animals that could see the best route. Once I made the mistake of giving a monkey a cookie, only to see the monkeys chase after him to steal, trying to beat him up! I quickly came out a couple of cookies and gave the rest to them, to avoid the original monkey from getting hurt. They all sat there eating peacefully as I ran away, hoping no one saw.

In Mexico, you will see iguanas in the wild often. As I walked down the path of nature in my way to work, there was rustling in the big tree near me. I looked up only to see a great man of 6 foot green iguana with bright orange stripes on the back, in the canopy of trees. He looked at me. I remember people telling me that iguanas are good food, chicken flavor, and are called "chicken of the tree." I never knew if it was true or not, but then, I was not about to eat iguanas. No, I am not so adventurous in my dining options. Black Iguanas can be seen usually one per session pile. Rocks are everywhere, male iguanas were sunning themselves. Interesting creatures. In the Chankanaab Park (on the island of Cozumel) is a huge iguana walking around public spaces, oblivious to the humans who walk past it. It bite if petted, the park employee told me. So I took pictures of it and keep my distance.

Another lizard that was interesting and abundant, Basilisk Basilisk, the basilisk. There are some varieties of basilisk that are in Mexico. It can run on the if water gets scared enough, and I witnessed a scare after an unintentionally. Later, I found a smaller one and took it out for my work, which have intense eyes, very seriously. When I finished the picture, ran vertically in the jungle, glad to be free of large, human fear with which he had spent few hours.

The forests of Mexico are fascinating, but I would recommend never go out of their way into one. First, the foliage is very dense. Second Instead, there are bugs that can hurt you if provoked, that is, scorpions, snakes and spiders. Look, but do not touch. I've seen all this, and people have paid them out of my house. Scorpions come later if they are agitated. Back away quickly, unless they can follow. The lighter color, I said, are more dangerous than black. There are tarantulas in Mexico, and are great, but not aggressive, thank goodness. I had a red knee tarantula removed from the front of my door once. My maid used to drive other spiders are found inside, and laugh when he was startled by them. "This? It's harmless! "I said. Yuck. I took his word.

Regarding snakes, there are some that are reason enough to go walking alone in the forest. First, there are enormous boas. My ex-husband was called by the ladies next door, to remove a 6-foot boa out of your apartment for rent. They said they only slipped into the back door open. Lesson learned, do not let an open door to your house if you live near the forest. So there's a crimson snake the locals called Coralio. I do not know its scientific name, but it was beautiful, but deadly. A man who lived near me had an apartment full of snakes, and showed me around. Snakes are interesting, but worth looking at that way, since my ex and I nearly stepped on one during an evening stroll. There are other snakes to watch, but these are the types we've seen. All snakes account their own business if not caused, apparently, the problem seems to be that humans are not paying attention and activity in other by mistake. Therefore worth seeing where walking.

Then there were the amazing birds. A superb variety of colors, shapes and sizes, birds in Mexico are exotic and intriguing. My Favorites were the Toco toucan, motmot, currasows, Yucatan Jay, cute tan and Trogon woodpecker and purple (a relative of the quetzal). They had a gift for display every time I did not have my camera with me. I did draw and take notes on what I saw, and then find them later. There was a bird that was so colorful that villagers called, "Seven Colors" (seven colors). After looking up, which identified him as a clerk painted. Other local bird called "Flycatcher" (yellow chest), also known as the great kiskadee, sat outside my window and yell, "Hey, Eeee!" at the top of their lungs. We used call back to him, and he answered. Bird very funny.

In Playa del Carmen, there is an outdoor aviary, built in the jungle, in the section of Playacar. I went there and turned around to see the different birds that are normally hidden by the jungle. One bird grew on me, a belly curassow prohibited followed me everywhere. She was my guide pen, and posed for photos freely. I finally got to see a close chachalaca, a relative to a peacock, who is shy, his voice high (its call sounds like a rusty meat grinder), and travel in groups. Additionally, there were red ibis, more flamingos, herons, and more. The aviary is a must if you visit Playacar.

Another area of natural interest in the Yucatan peninsula were all mistakes. Insects of all kinds in large quantities. I could have done without all the mosquitoes, but thank God for insect repellent. My favorites were the butterflies. Sometimes, when driving on remote roads, we find butterfiles undulating masses of various colors of yellow, white or black. Monarch butterflies also migrate in large groups to Mexico, I once saw, too. The butterfly more beautiful that found in nature, in my view, was the Morpho butterfly. It has large iridescent blue wings, was not as common as other butterflies, and preferred the intimacy populated areas such as fields and forests. There was another butterfly that was big, brown and with closed wings, was the size of a dinner plate. It was called a butterfly owl, flying slowly. I was very close to him and seemed unafraid. Her patterns on their wings that were like numbers. Fascinating.

Beetles. Ahh, beetle .. not very smart, and apparently not all that bright, but intimate with their antics less graceful. There was gold beetles used to fly to my window I was working as often. Usually, landed on his back with his feet waving helplessly in the air. Finally, the situation would be based on turning me right side up, some then to fly, others somehow end up back again. It was strange, but I took the opportunity to draw these metallic-colored insects that looked as if they were brushed gold gilt.

Grasshoppers and crickets are in abundance in the jungles of the Yucatan Peninsula. There are many varieties of grasshoppers, I lost count. For the Grasshoppers. their bodies are gigantic, the size of a sparrow. I caught one, get it, then, when I let go of my balcony, he flew in a straight path. His big green body was visible for a very long time and that has flown off into the sunset, it was surreal.

Sea creatures and fish are abundant in the Caribbean Sea. Although endangered reefs show signs of damage and still are beautiful. Every day, I snorkel in the low-traffic area near my house. It was quiet to get to the beach early in the morning, pick up some shells that washed up on shore, then make my place on the beach. I snorkel until my body is cold, every day. There were not many large predators in areas where I swam, because of the breakwalls they travel and the coast, separating the costs of deep ocean waters. Occasionally, a barracuda that find their way into the reef area, my, what teeth so large that they have. That way, you can see dolphins playing in the waves made by large yachts or ferries. Bottlenose dolphins are very social creatures and seem without fear of humans. Some of the smaller fish and creatures I saw were more memorable than brittle starfish (who live under rocks and get out of hand quickly if it is to hold one), octopus, conch, sea turtles, moray eels, blue ears and of course the damsels festive. Although I have not received my diving license, I went in some professional diving tours, where the water was so shallow, diving was possible. Tours are great for finding gorgeous coral gardens that are visible to all others. Most beautiful I've seen were near the town of Puerto Morelos.

Other places I liked to explore the cenotes were Blue and Dos Ojos. Cenotes are bodies natural brackish water that the Maya Indians use to build their villages around. Now, sitting in the jungle and tourists to enter them to go cave diving. Underneath the Yucatan is a complex network of caves that attract cave divers from around the world. Not me, I preferred to simply swim in the crystal clear waters at the mouth of the cenotes and observation of the fish I saw. One of the cenotes were fish I had seen in pet stores in the U.S. again, swimming is not natural. Jack Dempsey and fish Green Sailfin Mollies, along with crappie livebearer I do not recognize. They were very colorful, and the Dempseys, cichlids fighting unless, like to pick on each other, had ragged fins. However, all fish were very healthy. How wonderful it is to swim among them in their natural habitat. The nature around the cenotes is interesting, too. I saw a basilisk run through the water when he swam too close, and a duck dive for fish and stay underwater for long. Nature abounds in the around the cenotes.

The nature of Mexico's abundant and beautiful in all its forms. The warm tropical climate brings the flora and fauna unlike what I've seen in my home state of Ohio, or even in my current state of Florida. Living among the lush jungles, jungle hear the frogs sing at night and spend time with my wonderful Co de Mexico working, guides and friends changed my life. By being respectful of nature (see, do not touch) and see where you walk, you will see clouds of butterflies, brightly colored birds and animals such as raccoons, rodents, and others who normally only seen in zoos. My employer promoted the preservation of wildlife in Mexico and was an honor do artwork of all things natural for them. I miss walking through the jungle road to his office the week and see the zoo animals and the wild trees. If you love nature, be sure to visit Mexico and make trips to see the beauty of nature, but with professionals who know where to go. Will an experience you will cherish and remember forever.
