Does anyone have any creative ideas for healthy snacks for kids?
i have a child who is very fussy with food. I just wanted some ideas on what I could make healthy snacks?
I have a very fussy. It really depends on what they like. I think if I let him help me make a snack you eat better. As the cheese pretzel sticks. Sometimes they will Peanut butter on apple slices. Do you like pizza? Make a smiley face pizza face using vegetables and cheese for hair. You can make people of vegetables and crackers. Make a cheese cracker face and then the body uses a stalk of celery with peanut butter. Add raisins for buttons. Then put carrot sticks for the arms and legs. You may think it's silly, but little kids like that. They become like a giant and eats away at him. Mina even make voices and try to decide what to eat first.
One of the best ways to keep your little one happy while you are traveling by car, plane or just to spend a day in the park, is to bring some snacks along healthy tasty. Take a moment to think through what your child prefers to avoid a lot of spitting and out of nervousness. When your child around the world is happy on the trip will also be happy: o)
Here are some suggestions:
- Peeled, seeded, and wedge blocks, oranges, pears, plums and grapes. Put them in Ziploc bags or small containers. Bananas are too large, but not peeled or cut them until you are ready to be eaten (they go black and heavy very quickly).

- Cucumbers, celery or carrots (for older kids), peeled and sliced on sticks to be easy to sustain. My daughter loves cucumbers, but only six teeth.
- "They're crunchy pretzels and fun to eat.
- Cheerios-sure to get the low blood sugar.
- Raisins along with other nuts. This choice of healthy yummy: o). They look happy in that appeal Ziploc bag.
- If your child is over 2 years, cutting some nuts too. Make sure your toddler is allergic to any of them.
- Biscuits are also a good snack to go. Always fun to eat.
- Cut cheese sticks cheese your baby's favorite easy to stay to celebrate. Or cut in different ways: o)
- Homemade vegetable chips - Peel carrots, zucchini, squash, sweet potatoes, turnips and apples into thin slices. Refitting in a pan lightly sprayed with oil. Bake vegetables at 140C for about 30-40 minutes, or until crisp and golden. You can cut your vegetables in "French fries" sticks and bake an hour and a half.
Different types of vegetables variable length cooking times, so it is important to check often cooking.
Do not forget to take some liquids with you. Water is the best. It will keep your baby hydrated, be satisfied. Of course, if your baby prefers juices, okay, if they are low in sugar. My baby is still in the breast milk / formula, but never leave without a sippy cup of water: o)
