Any experience, good and bad, with juice?
I ordered a juicer for my next birthday. I want one because you definitely do not have enough fruits and vegetables in my life and I would recover health (believe me, I tried to eat all the vegetables that are recommended, which is too much and got bored fast!). The end result is loss of weight. I'm not doing a "juice fast" just the simple fact of juice for breakfast, a juice for lunch with some other lean protein and dairy then a healthy dinner, with snacks in between moderate. I have done some research online and found no personal testimonies about such a plan. Everything I've found has been on juice fasting. Has anyone done something like this, or someone you know is who? If so, what have you done / to do, for how long (lifestyle change, or short term) and what was the outcome (healthy and lost weight, weight loss, but won again, etc)? And, what price reasonable juicer would you recommend? Thanks!
I personally have not tried to replace much of my daily diet with fresh juice for long periods of time, however I have a blender and it really helps to get additional nutrients in my diet.
