You might think that a slice of chocolate cake is so delicious decadent must be bad for your health. Not really. You probably think that there can be another reason for eat this delicious dessert with the exception of its wonderful flavor. That's where you're wrong. Eating a chocolate pecan pie has health benefits that do not realize.

Take the first ingredient on the pecan pie as an example. Obviously, the pecan is a bone. Nuts are good sources of protein, unsaturated fat (oleic acid), and more of 19 vitamins and minerals like vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin B1, calcium, potassium, zinc and magnesium. The combination of these ingredients in a circular chocolate pecan is not only good for the senses, but also for their health. Just remember, however, that as in everything in life, moderation is the key. Eating a slice of chocolate cake is good if done once a day a couple of times a month. It becomes unhealthy if taken more than that.
