They should all be called Apple by E. Gratis from on 2010-04-03 I got this juice on the gold box deal one day, and I had pretty high expectations. The problem is, the flavor is not varied enough, they are all primarily apple and grape juice (although I haven't tried the orange flavor, which one reviewer said tasted much different). This doesn't necessarilly mean this juice isn't good. Actually, the black cherry juice goes amazing with pizza, so I do recommend it, especially over less-natural drinks, like ones sweetened with Aspartame or high-fructose corn syrup. All in all though, the flavor of this juice just doesn't impact you as much as it should for being black cherry. It honestly does taste like apple sometimes. It's not as bad as the kiwi-strawberry though, that flavor is just too sweet, and doesn't taste remarkably like strawberries OR kiwi. This is still a great drink relative to most soft drinks, just wasn't well executed. I'd rather pay a little more and get a better quality one, but that other fizzie juice, "Izzie", doesn't appear to have any significant difference in juice composition besides extra vitamins. I'm gonna try it though the next time I go to the grocery, since it has less sugar (and sugar is something Switch has a little too much of, imho) so hope to keep updated.

I might sound like a crazy but I have only had it for a week, but was drinking 40oz of water a day with the cherry juice. I missed a day and about 5pm I was in so much pain. I laughed and told my husband I needed my juice. I did drink the juice but had to take 3 Advils to help... Well I have not miss a day and don't need Advil everyday anymore...

OK but bottled juice is better by Gormenghast from Boston, MA on 2009-09-24 When I mix up the concentrate, at the lower recommended amount it is weak and not sweet enough. It is better if you add more of the concentrate, but it still has a bit of an off-taste compared to tart cherry juice that I get in glass bottles at Whole Foods. It is not bad after experimenting with the concentration and mixing in a little bit of some other juice, but it is still somewhat disappointing. I have not tried it in recipes, but I suspect it would be fine there.

Worked wonders for my gout by ijcast from San Francisco, CA on 2010-08-01 I had a recent flare up of gout which caused my big toe to swell up with a lot of pain. Taking the meds my doctor prescribed helped but didnt quite get rid of all the discomfort. I tried this drink for about a week (2 tablespoons in 8-10oz water twice a day). I was amazed at how this worked for me. I'm not saying it's a cure for gout, but it did help me get over that hump and now I'm pain free. I ordered a larger bottle recently (32oz) - now that I know that this helps. The taste is robust, smooth, and sweet. Not really a great tasting drink, but still not bad at all.

They claim to ship it to retailers in refrigerated trucks. This is a concern, because it's bottled in #1 plastic bottles, unlike most health juices, which use glass bottles. A concern to me in Arizona, where even in winter the UPS trucks heat up. I received mine late today, and it was quite warm--luckily it was under 100 outside, but on an 80 degree day the insidees of vehicles reach above 102 degrees. So it was somewhere under boiling.
Very bad packaging. They could at least use #2 plastic. The taste is fine but the anti-oxidant effect is bound to be either a wash or negatively affected by the heat. I will have to go back to purchasing another brane from a health food store where they keep it in a refrigerated case.

I found the strong taste a bit off putting but can't argue with the results. Initially I mixed it in water but did not like it at all. Next I mixed it in fruit juice ( orange or orange-pineapple-banana) and found it more palatable. I purchased some tart cherry capsules and have been taking them instead. If I could not get the capsules I would certainly go back to the juice concentrate due to the results.

After few weeks I must say I have not noticed any energy swings. It's great a great product and worth the money. I take a multivitamin and omega 3 with these everyday and I feel great. Like always never take any pills on an empty stomach, you are just asking for trouble if you do. Also noticed that my digestion has improved, not sure if it was the acai that started it or it was these. Make sure you colon cleanse every few months you will not regret it.
