If I plant a cherry seed, how long will it take to grow a tree with cherries budding off of it?

Not the marishino cherries but the bing cherries. i bought a bag of them and im going to plant the seeds that come out of them. also, how many would i have to plant to get 1 tree?

Save all your cherries pits and sun dried them. Mix top soil with some of your back yard dirt. The reason why you want this mixture is that sometimes the top soil your purchase might to be tooooooooo concentrated and kill of your sprout. ( You get it !) If the weather is not to hot and not to cold and you have a nice moist soil and under a shade, you might be able to grow just about anything. It might take a few years (like + - 10 years) but at least you tried and worked. Good luck !
