At what age did your baby finger foods?
Im having problems with my 7 month old, he is not interested in eating any fruit or vegetable purée, the only thing that is eating baby food and yogurt, I've been reading a web page and said that some mothers are omitted altogether baby food and gave them finger foods, but I'm terrified that he will drown! How old gave her little food, do you think that seven months is young?
7 months is a good age to start finger foods. We started our son at 6 months. I know all about the fear of drowning, but if you start with small clouds of dust or Cheerios, the risk of asphyxiation is small. Weaning babies: a baby led approach

While still a professional recommendation child care and institutions, there is really no research to support the widespread notion that babies should be weaned first in solids through mashed or pureed foods. The idea that solids should be introduced into puree is undoubtedly a holdover from the 1960's, when the recommended age for the introduction of solids was 3 months. Currently, the recommended age for introducing solids is 6 months. At 6 months, most babies have a strong neck can sit if supported and have the fine motor skills sufficient to reach and grab things, including seafood.

Baby led weaning
To start the baby led weaning, offer your baby a proper selection of appetizers. Because babies who still have not developed a clamp and can capture just the things in his fists, food as a chip or with a handle (like broccoli) are ideal. It is very important for babies to eat just sit and never left unattended. But even a baby can chew, she is unable to move food to the back mouth.
